UNDERSTANDING MEDICATION TRACKING
Keep track of your medications,
day by day.
Several medications to organise, scheduled or as-needed doses, and sometimes a loved one to support: tracking should remain clear. Kwesī is an upcoming app that brings those everyday reference points together.
This page explains the uses presented by Kwesī. The app is coming to iOS and Android; registration is not open yet.
One view for several medications
Each medication has its own settings: days, time slots, dates and the quantity entered. Bringing them together helps you understand the plan without mixing up different medications or different people.
In Kwesī, the daily view shows planned doses and those already recorded. The medication list lets you find each medication and its summary. Tracking belongs to the selected profile, keeping your medications separate from those of a loved one.
Scheduled and as-needed doses need different views
A scheduled medication follows the days and time slots you enter. It can appear in the daily plan alongside upcoming doses and information already recorded.
An as-needed medication does not necessarily follow a regular time. Kwesī places these medications in a dedicated group. Recorded doses build their history; they are not a daily target to reach.
The interface may show a 24-hour counter or a countdown, depending on the medication settings. These are tracking indicators. How a medication should be taken remains part of your care plan: the app does not choose a medication or a dose for you.
Understand the daily statuses
A confirmed dose, a dose explicitly marked as not taken and an upcoming dose mean different things. Status labels and colours help you distinguish that information in the daily timeline.
A missing entry alone does not establish whether a medication was taken. Tracking reflects what has been recorded in the app, rather than observing the actual intake.
Look back at your habits
For scheduled medications, statistics compare confirmed doses with expected doses over the elapsed period. They provide an overview and a breakdown by medication.
As-needed medications are excluded from the adherence calculation. Their history and frequency are viewed separately. Available analyses depend on the plan; see the plan information for details.
Support loved ones through chosen permissions
Supporting someone does not mean having every permission for their tracking. Viewing information, recording a dose, reading reports and exporting them depend on the permissions granted for that relationship.
Profiles help you select the right person before acting. A subscription does not automatically grant access to a loved one’s health data. The guide to your circle of loved ones explains the routes and sharing screens.
Set up medication tracking and stock
Before a medication appears in tracking, its settings need to be entered and reviewed. The summary brings the schedule together; stock can also be prepared through the medication’s available options.
The guide to adding your first medication presents the available screens. Reminders also depend on notification permissions and device settings: a schedule alone does not establish that a reminder will be received.
